I'm seeking a literary agent for my third novel, "Gratitude Happens," comedic self-help women’s contemporary fiction complete at 75,000 words.

About Gratitude Happens:

Chrissie Demata is a 40-year-old Angeleno who clings to new age tools (tarot cards, healing crystals, vision boards and energy healers) because she doesn’t trust her own intuition to bring her the life and love she wants so badly (#LawofAttraction!). After being ghosted by a Match.com date, the rejection dredges up all the raw emotion and unhealed wounds from losing her father Giovanni when she was a child. Instead of being her authentic self, she’s suppressed her emotions and played the role she thought her mother Florence needed after Giovanni’s death—a silent, good girl. As Chrissie works with a therapist to liberate herself, she learns to be courageous, how to express her true feelings, and discovers how an everyday girl can live a joyful and fulfilled life, without seeking something or someone outside of herself to validate her existence.

About me: I’ve authored, edited, marketed and promoted two self-published novels since 2015. My second book, “Fuchsia Parade: One Woman’s Quest for Sex, Love & Redemption,” won multiple awards in 2018 and 2019, including the National Indie Excellence Award.

"Gratitude Happens" is my third completed novel and I am seeking a literary agent for this, and future, works.
